Topographic
Topographic mapping represents physical features that are visible on the landscape to the human eye. AGSI’s topographic data contains features such as railway tracks, hydro transmission towers, trails, rivers and water bodies, as well as structures such as building footprints.
AGSI’s topographic information integrates Parcel where applicable.
AGSI’s field teams also validate the existence of major topographical features while in the field. For example, this process has proven extremely useful with respect to the significant amount of change that occurs when railway tracks are removed and replaced with public pathways.
