Whether it is Toronto, Calgary or a small town in Ontario, we have all seen and read the headlines; situations where poor, inaccurate information has led to tragedy. In 2006, an EMS crew was dispatched to a fire at 100 Cavell Ave., in Toronto and arrived within four minutes. Unfortunately, it was the wrong 100 Cavell Ave. Could the fatality that occurred at that fire have been prevented? Early on, AGSI, a leader in location information, recognized the potential hazards and challenges when managing addresses and implemented its industry leading Location Warehouse™ strategy to address these situations.

AGSI is strongly committed to delivering solutions that support the health and safety of communities right across Ontario and has chosen to develop a Web based solution built specifically for our First Responders – fire, police and ambulance. This solution is being offered at an extremely low cost and combines an easy to use interface along with the most comprehensive and accurate location information available in Ontario today. AGSI is the only company with a Field Collection team (43 staff members) in Ontario dedicated to the task of ensuring this location information is field verified, updated and maintained in a timely manner.

The First Responder's portal was built using AGSI's GO360 Web technology and also leverages the Location Warehouse data product.
