Field Researcher –AGSI’s team of spatial information specialists collect & verify information in the field.
One of the reasons AGSI is a leader in knowledge & mapping industries is our Field Researchers. AGSI’s Field Researchers ensure our clients have the most accurate and up-to-date information for both urban and rural areas by physically visiting and ground truthing information. AGSI is currently expanding the research team to total over 1500 in North America alone. This ensures the AGSI Location Warehouse™ is the most current and accurate information source available.
AGSI’s Research team is always on the ground both confirming and collecting information for our clients and the AGSI’s Location Warehouse. AGSI also provides the CheckIT tool for all customers who may wish to have a field researcher check and verify any information. This step is critical as our landscape constantly transforms. New streets are being paved, homes are being built, new schools, plazas and many other changes occur daily. So whether that information consists of roads and address or the custom information our clients require, our team insures the highest quality as they update the information as changes occur. The research team not only collects this information but also inputs this data into the Location Warehouse. What this means for AGSI’s clients is the most current & accurate information is available as soon as it is collected.
This means AGSI’s clients are not just getting researchers but are getting a team approach to trustworthy information. On custom client jobs the Research Team works with the client to insure all their data needs are captured and met.
Our Research Team uses AGSI’s own GO360 Mobile and Editor products in the field for capturing information directly and this includes highly accurate GPS locations for those customers who require mapping information.
AGSI’s Research team performs regular maintenance by confirming and collecting information for our clients in addition to information within AGSI’s Location Warehouse. AGSI also provides Go360’s CheckIT tool for all customers who wish to have a field researcher check and verify information.
