Imagery
AGSI houses Aerial and Satellite Photography which can be used in conjunction with other datasets for analysis purposes.
This highly detailed product is an excellent tool in terrain analysis and asset location. Land type identification is one area where aerial imagery is extremely useful and cost-effective. An example of which is the proposed Ontario Bill 81 legislation for agricultural nutrient management. The figure on the right represents setbacks for water courses and wells which are not to be fertilized or used for grazing purposes. Parcel and Street Centerline Data were overlaid in addition to ground well locations and Topographic Data.
Our imagery is available in full colour and black and white. AGSI often uses aerial and satellite imagery as a guide in the alignment of data such as Hydrology and Street Centerlines.
