The Region of Peel Selects AGSI - June 2, 2008
The Region of Peel has selected AGSI's Location Warehouse™ 6-Digit Postal Code Polygon for enabling a large number of applications as they service their constituents, customers and businesses within the Region. A few of the applications include:
- Accurate information searches in a number of the Regions databases;
- For Geographic Analyses of Peel including aggregating business data such as demographics, population, travel patterns etc. by postal code for various studies (e.g. assessing the Health of Peel residents);
- Bulk mail outs; and
- Visualizations through the GIS systems.
The Region of Peel decided to select AGSI because:
- AGSI is the only company whose 6-Digit Postal Codes cover both urban and rural areas;
- AGSI's Postal Codes Polygons coincide down to the parcel level;
- AGSI has the highest level of accuracy and quality; and
- AGSI has a team of field researchers who are constantly validating and updating ground trusted information.
