AGSI Announces a Live-Connect with Land Survey Records Inc - June 9, 2008
AGSI is pleased to announce a live-connect between Land Survey Records Inc.'s (LSR) online digital warehouse of legal surveys with AGSI's GO360™ and Location Warehouse™.
LSR's current solution provides search and retrieval functions to legal surveys, providing public access for individuals such as home owners, lawyers, real estate agents, developers, investors and others involved in any portion of the land transfer process. LSR will implement AGSI's GO360 technology as part of its next generation product. GO360 will provide LSR with access to search and retrieval engines for visualizing the location of plans as well as its geocoding, data input and modification engine for the spatial indexing and referencing of survey plans. In addition, LSR will have access to AGSI's Location Warehouse for extending search capabilities and map view backdrops for each plan. LSR's survey plans are available for purchase online.
This strategic relationship between AGSI and LSR will allow for access to the most current survey information anytime, anywhere, through any web-enabled device. The AGSI Live-Connect solution allows for surveyor companies to deposit plans and update information while AGSI continues its on-going, real-time, updates to base mapping and thematic feature information, even as the general public is searching and purchasing survey plans of interest through the LSR portal. "When the plan is deposited, it's instantly viewable and available for purchase", stated Chris Cameron CEO & President of AGSI.
With access to the "Live Connect" solution LSR will enhance its leadership role in the land survey records market. This relationship with AGSI provides LSR with the ability to deliver to the Surveying Profession and all other Land Professionals easy access to the largest plan database in the Province of Ontario. Searching can be done simply by using the street address of the subject parcel.
Peter Raikes, President of Land Survey Records said "This new feature of LSR will soon eliminate the need for a legal description of the land you are searching for. Our VAR relationship with AGSI allows LSR to remain at the forefront of distributing historical survey information to the Land Surveying Profession in Ontario."
