Hydro One goes Mobile! - June 23, 2008

Hydro One selected AGSI's GO360 Lite Mobile solution to facilitate their process for auditing Submarine cables (under water hydro cables) in the field. AGSI worked closely with Hydro One to configure the application on a tablet computer that would assist their field workers in documenting the condition and status of the cables while identifying their exact location via GPS.

Field users may take digital pictures of the assets and link them to the specific submarine record for future reference and analysis. This is believed to be the first system of its kind implemented in North America and will provide valuable information in establishing maintenance procedures and tracking submarine cable history.
