AGSI Flyers

Georgetown's AGSI Flyers Tyke and Atom girls cross country teams finished 5th and 8th respectively in the Ontario Provincial X-Country running championships, held in Burlington's LaSalle Park on Saturday, October 27th, 2007.

Both teams, formed just a month ago from schools across Georgetown, gelled as two strong teams and focused on taking a run for the medals at Saturday's Provincial event.

Both teams are continuing to train and will run a 1km non-championship race on December 1st and later that day watch Canada's top x-country athletes and Olympians contest for positions on the National team at the AGSI National X-Country Championships being held in Guelph.
