EMO Launches GO360™ Application - July 15, 2007

Recently, Community Safety Minister Monte Kwinter was in Waterloo during Emergency Preparedness Week to announce EMO's new Emergency Visualization Application developed by Angus GeoSolutions Inc. (AGSI).

"It's a wonderful tool,'' Mr Kwinter said. "We are bringing all the resources in the province together dealing with it online in real time,''

In the event of a disaster or crisis, emergency managers from across the province are able to access this interactive tool through the internet, share information and draw on electronic maps. The online map allows experts to quickly decide which schools and hospitals would need to be evacuated and where shelters should be established. EVA is the latest in a series of innovative Web GO360 software solutions designed, developed and delivered by AGSI.
