Angus GeoSolutions Inc. Presents Energy Conservation and Demand Side Management Decision Support System to Ontario Energy Association. - June 9, 2005

Angus GeoSolutions Inc. (AGSI) presented with Oshawa PUC Networks Inc. (OPUC) at the 2005 OEA Energy Conservation and Demand Management Forum (CDM) Best Practices in Energy Management. This forum's purpose is to examine best practises in energy conservation program design and delivery and included speeches from the The Honourable Dwight Duncan, Ontario Minister of Energy, Donna Cansfield, MPP, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy, Head of the Province's Conservation Action Team and Peter Love, Ontario 's Chief Conservation Officer.

OPUC's presentation focused upon their Smart Meter and CDM Decision Support System implementation results-to-date and described their methodological business approach of prototyping, piloting and planning for a phased roll-out. Oshawa PUC has chosen to work with Angus GeoSolutions Inc. (AGSI) who is responsible for the melding of client information, hourly Smart Meter consumption readings and information technologies.

Oshawa PUC and AGSI's solution presentation:

Included a web-based interface for analyzing and targeting customers with appropriate CDM solutions, OEB accomplishments reporting and customer relationship management. The solution demonstrated a successful information solution implementation at Oshawa PUC Networks including integration and electrical consumption analysis with Oshawa 's OEB approved Smart Meter residential prototype implementation. Oshawa PUC and AGSI are actively involved in rolling out the pilot program.

Oshawa PUC Networks was recognized throughout the day by other speakers and the Chief Conservation officer for the excellence demonstrated by the CDM decision support system. The presentation demonstrated the importance of working with partners such as AGSI in assisting Oshawa PUC Networks with an effective CDM program and while allowing Oshawa to focus on their core competency of electrical power delivery and reliability.
